we all have seen the bad blood relationship between captain hook and dark one , hook is so curious and he wants to get the revenge from dark one so badly , but the reason for revenge is that simple ? because of what dark one did with his love? or there is some other reason behind all of that , My theory about hook is that , he is betraying everyone he is working for hades from the start , when his brother died because of never land incident , he went to a mysterious mythological place throw magical portal to find hades , because hades is God of death , which can revive people , so he went there to help his brother , Hades has no power left to do that , so he wanted that dagger and sword , so he sent hook on a mission to get that sword attached with dagger , in end of the season when Merlin will destroy all the darkness from Emma then hook will attach that dagger with sword , then a magical portal will open to a mythological place where hades is waiting for hook , and a new quest will begin , for heroes to save Hercules and everyone from hades.
